Just a quick little acrylic piece of some early spring flowers. Always nice to see a bit of bright color after months of gray-brown winter.

The pond is rather still in the late days of winter, with the trees around it bare of foliage - save for the evergreens of course, the cattails long since withered, and no signs of the turtles (although I have seen them out on sunny, technically winter days). But March is approaching, and although there will be many cold days yet, spring isn't that far off.
